pip_ui - Code of Conduct

As contributors and maintainers of this project, we are dedicated to providing a respectful and harassment-free experience for everyone. We are committed to fostering an open and welcoming environment.

Our Standards

We expect all participants in our project's discussions, issue trackers, and other communication channels to adhere to the following standards of behavior:

Be Respectful: Value each other's ideas, styles, and viewpoints. We may not always agree, but disagreement is no excuse for poor manners. Be considerate in your interactions.

Be Direct and Professional: Communicate directly and professionally. Avoid personal attacks, derogatory language, and insults.

Keep it On-Topic: Focus on the technical and practical aspects of the project. Help us keep discussions productive and relevant.

No Harassment: Harassment and exclusionary behavior are not acceptable. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive comments related to any personal characteristic.
  • Threats of violence.
  • Deliberate intimidation.
  • Unwelcome attention.

Enforcement

Project maintainers have the right and responsibility to remove, edit, or reject comments, commits, code, wiki edits, issues, and other contributions that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct. Project maintainers who do not follow the Code of Conduct may be temporarily or permanently removed from the project team.

Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported to the project team at matthewdeanmartin@gmail.com. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated and will result in a response deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The project team is obligated to maintain confidentiality with regard to the reporter of an incident.
